Music by Keel & Hill

Keel and Hill are a duo that will make you smile. Part folk and part contemporary bluegrass, these two weave together a fun and organic sound that will reach inside and lift the soul. Bob Keel, West Virginia Eastern Panhandle native, has been writing original folk music for almost 20 years and has released four full length albums and three EPs. His sound draws comparison to Jack Johnson, Bob Dylan, and the Avett Brothers. Eldred Hill, Washington DC Metro native, comes to the duo having cut his teeth writing and playing mandolin with his own bluegrass band, Patent Pending, for forty-42 years, as of 2019. Hill’s contemporary style pays homage to the bluegrass royalty like Bill Monroe, and yet, one can still hear the influence of Hill’s favorite mandolin players like Doyle Lawson and Sam Bush. When Keel and Hill take the stage the audience will hear songs that they know by heart and songs that they feel like they should know by heart. Which ever the case may be, the listener leaves the show feeling happier and lighter than when they walked in.
